Systems
With system to success.
Cutting, wrapping and feeding are among the most commonly used processes in coil processing. The coil is the center in each process, but always plays a different role.
Slitting lines: After the rolling process, they represent the largest part in coil processing. Coils are processed into sheets or strips or divided from one wide to several narrow rings.
Rewinding lines: Here the coil is the product. To process coil surfaces, the sheet must usually be unwound and rewound under tension. Sometimes even back and forth several times.
Strip feeding equipment: There are many different applications and designs for strip feeding equipment, which is why we are simply talking about feeding here. This mainly means that coil material is fed to a downstream machine – usually in combination with a decoiler, straightener and roll feed.
