Pneumatic Shears

Our Pneumatic Shears use compressed air as a drive –

unlike the hydraulic ones. Even if separations are almost always painful, we still separate our Pneumatic Shears into light and heavy types. The light Shears are equipped with top-mounted cylinders and relatively short guides; they achieve up to 500 cuts per minute. This them particularly suitable as scrap choppers for the strip skeletons, or in small cut-to-length lines with fast Roll Feeds. In contrast, our heavy Shears have integrated cylinders and long guides, and are far more robust than the light Shears. Up to a sheet thickness of about 3 mm, they provide a very cost-effective alternative to Hydraulic Shears, primarily because they do not require a hydraulic power unit with electrical control.
